On May 30, Durham Farm Connections hosted a Precision Agriculture Field Day in partnership with Invest Durham. The on-farm event hosted high school students with an interest in environmental science, information-communication technology, horticulture and mechanics to learn about precision agriculture and agricultural careers.
The students had the opportunity to view live demonstrations of cutting-edge equipment in operation, soil health experiments, and examples of agricultural career opportunities.
