A Night to Remember: Celebrate Agriculture Gala Recap 🌾✨

On Friday, October 25th, we gathered for an unforgettable evening at the Celebrate Agriculture Gala. The room was filled with energy, passion, and an incredible spirit of community, all brought together to honor the dedication of those who sustain and support our agricultural heritage.

Each year, Durham Farm Connections proudly recognizes outstanding individuals, families, and organizations who make a difference in our agricultural community through the Celebrate Agriculture Awards. These awards are a way to honor the dedication, hard work, and passion that can be found throughout Durham Region. We’re excited to announce our 2024 award winners:

Family Farm Award – Congratulations to the Tindall Family for their longstanding legacy of progressive farming achievements and unwavering commitment to community service. 

Spirit of Agriculture Award – A huge round of applause for Zac Cohoon of Twin Erin Farms! Zac’s dedication to supporting and championing agriculture in Durham has made a lasting impact. Sponsored by Farm Credit Canada. 

Leadership Award – Honoring Ursula Kressibucher for her incredible leadership, community involvement, and inspiring passion for agriculture. This award, sponsored by TD Canada Trust, supports further leadership development, and there’s no one more deserving!
