About the Event
The Orono Fair, an annual event in Ontario hosted by the Orono Agricultural Society since 1852, is among the province’s oldest agricultural fairs. Traditionally held the first weekend after Labour Day, it celebrates rural life with livestock competitions, artisan and agricultural exhibits, and attractions like midway rides and live music. The 2026 Friday Night Concert features Canadian country star Tenille Townes with Nate Haller. Over 200 volunteers help coordinate the event, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The fair honors contributions to agriculture and community with awards. Attendees can connect with the community, enjoy family-friendly competitions, and explore farming and crafts, celebrating agriculture, community, and tradition in small-town Ontario.
