Durham Region… an emerging
power in agri-business


Durham Region is situated in a location and climate range that allows for very diverse agricultural production. From livestock and field crops to nurseries and vineyards, the Region is an excellent location for any agricultural business.

Situated within a day’s drive of 135 million consumers, Durham Region has access to major highways, railways, airports and marinas. The Region encompasses an area of more than 500,000 acres with large tracts of easily accessible and serviceable prime agri-business land. An abundance of Class 1 and 2 lands, with pockets of Class 3 and 4 areas makes for excellent field crop and livestock production.
